Our Story
SGV Environmental Services is a black owned (100%) consultancy firm established in 2020, specialising in Environmental Management, Project Management, Waste Management including (Recycling), Geohydrological projects and supply of goods and services to the state and private organisation. Our aim is to provide clients with innovative and cost effective solutions with best available technology in ensuring the minimization of the actual/ potential impacts to its client.
SGV Environmental Services was born out of the need to support sustainable development in South Africa and promoting zero waste to the landfill. We realised that Africa is going through a major development phase and the development industry needs a company that would fill the gap by providing scarce and specialised skills, and conduct different projects in a timeous and cost-effective manner. We are based in Burgersfort, Polokwane and have a satellite office at Siloam Complex in Limpopo.

Our team is comprised of highly skilled, experienced, passionate people who are dedicated to their work. They have extensive experience with the key organisation in South Africa in the field of Environmental Management, Project management, Waste management, Geohydrology and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAs).
Gundo Sithomola
Director
Environmental and Resource Studies (Hons) from University of Limpopo, SAMTRAC from NOSA College. Mr Sithomola has experience in the environmental management field and waste management field including hazardous and general waste. Mr Sithomola has worked as an Environmental Practitioner (EP) in a private consulting company in Polokwane, Where he was responsible for conducting EIA’S, Report writing, environmental monitoring and compliance audits. He worked on several Geohydrological projects in Giyani and waste management projects in burgersfort. He then Join the Mining industries in Burgersfort where he worked as a senior waste manager in several mines. During his term in the mining environment he gained more experience in SHE and Risk management.
